Prenatal Massage Therapy
Prenatal massage is relaxing and soothing in its nature. It promotes relaxation, soothes nerves, and relieves fatigued back and leg muscles in mothers-to-be. This massage is especially beneficial in the second and third trimesters, when the extra weight in the belly puts a strain on the mother's back. This massage aids the circulatory and lymphatic system, the primary function of which is to transport white blood cells through the blood stream into the bones and help get rid of toxins, waste, and other unwanted elements. The gentle strokes also help stabilize hormone levels and relieve nervous tension throughout the body. We offer the best prenatal massage therapy in Philadelphia!

Sliding Dry Cupping Therapy
An alternative therapy from Ancient China, cupping comes in many different types whether it is dry or wet, fixed or sliding. At Le Reve we use dry silicone cups and the sliding technique which increases blood circulation, relieves muscle tension, and improves overall blood flow and cell repair. acupressure-massage-philadelphia
Acupressure Stress Relief Massage
Acupressure is a thousands-year-old form of massage therapy that involves applying pressure to certain points on the body to address ailments. People have meridians or channels throughout the body. Qi, which is understood as a life-sustaining energy force, runs along those meridians. Qi can become stuck at some points along the meridians, and the goal of acupressure is to keep the energy flowing using pressure at specific points. There are hundreds of acupressure points on the body, corresponding to other parts of the body. (For example, there’s a point on your hand for your kidney.) As with any form of massage, a huge perk of acupressure is relaxation, one that you can get behind even if you doubt the existence of meridians. Acupressure is often used for pain relief, may help fight back pain, menstrual cramps, and headaches. The practice is used for many other purposes, including but not limited to immune system and digestion support.

Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger Point Therapy is a form of Remedial Massage Therapy in which direct pressure is applied to specified points on tender muscle tissue to bring about reduction in muscle tension and pain. Each muscle has potential trigger points which can become activated by muscle overuse, inflammation, trauma, electrolyte imbalances, infections and nerve pain. These trigger points can cause pain over the muscle affected or transfer pain and thus be felt in another area of the body. Other trigger points are only felt when the muscle is directly palpated by the therapist. Muscles with active trigger points are always weaker than normal muscles and unable to move through their full range of motion. Because they are unable to perform their normal function, other muscles are recruited to perform the activity of the compromised muscle. These secondary muscles can go on to develop trigger points themselves, if the original muscle is not treated.

We had such an amazing experience here. It’s my boyfriends birthday and they treated us amazingly. From the start they... had accommodated a last minute appointment. They then called to alert us of a cancellation to better accommodate the schedule. They let us be in the same room which almost made me tear up. I wanted to give him the best birthday and you guys helped me so much! The water bed tables with arm rest was so comfy and such a twist! They served us complimentary champagne and little chocolates. This was my boyfriends first massage. He talked so highly of his massage therapist. BOTH of therapists did an amazing job. Thank you for such an amazing experience! We look forward to booking a service in the future!read more

This was my first massage, it was a couples massage with my wife (Swedish Massage 1 hour). We looked at probably every... single massage place in Philly and settled on this one, and it was amazing. The ambiance and setting was fantastic, the staff was great, and the water beds felt super comfortable. Would definitely do it again next time I’m in Philly!read more

I felt like I was in Heaven. I loved the salt bed. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the champagne and chocolates. My only... suggestion is that it would’ve been nice to have more than 1 glass of champagne. Also the water was room temperature slightly warm. I would’ve preferred cold water.read more

My partner and I had a great experience at this spa! Friendly staff and calming ambiance. We got a couples massage and... had a wonderful time together. My only feedback is that since they ask for pronouns on the intake form, that they then make sure to acknowledge them to the guests that they are addressing. When we were asked our pronouns it made the environment feel very welcoming, but the. when they weren’t even acknowledged it made us wonder why they even asked them in the first place.read more

I ordered a massage for my mom for her birthday. She has never had great experiences with massages, but to say she... loved this one would be an understatement. She had Margaret as her masseuse,, and raved about how kind and professional she was. She also LOVED this experience. She said when she put her head down to sleep in the evening after this massage, it was the best sleep she's had in a while, Not to mention the 3 times she fell asleep during her massage 😂I can't wait to go myself!read more

This place was amazing, a true gem—very LGBTQ friendly and affirming, my wife and I went here for couples one special... massage and left so much lighter and more relaxed. The massage therapists Kyesha and Lauren helped work out all our stress from 2020 and were great at checking in on pressure and focus. I am a massage therapist and I highly recommend them both as well as this spa. It’s wonderfully hidden in a medical building on the fourth floor which I find cleaver since it is a part of health care that should be recognized—giving our systems rest to reset. Following our massages we were treated to chocolates and a fancy drink of our choice and our own private sauna/shower/bathroom. We left so happy. Tip was included in the package deal yet I felt this place also deserved a 5star review—I feel like we are floating and moving so much better after. Give this place a try—happy pride month everyone.read more
