Policies

**Policies: A credit card is required to book an appointment. Payments are processed the day of the appointment. Cancellations, reschedules, and no-shows without 24 hours notice, will be charged full price. Same-day appointments that are canceled will be charged full price. Rescheduled same-day appointments will be charged for the original date and the new date. Please be aware that if you arrive more than 10 minutes late we reserve the right to cancel or cut your time and charge you for full price for all services. 

**No multiple payments on packages or groups. 20% gratuity added on all parties of 2 or more or on more than one service.

**Spa Packages cannot be modified, changed, or discounted if you choose not to receive any of the services listed in the Spa Package on the day of your appointment.**

A 50% deposit is required for scheduling any appointment with Le Reve Rittenhouse Spa. Should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so prior to 48 hours before your appointment. Payments will proses on a day of appointments. Late cancellations or no shows are non-refundable.

I don’t even know where to begin; this is by far the WORST experience I have ever had with a spa. I have had many... massages in my life and am frankly an easy customer who has never complained even if it was not great. The short version: all parties involved were unprofessional or uncaring. They made countless beginner level massage therapy mistakes including bright lights, no music, extreme temperatures on the beds, rough handling of our bodies, zero communication and very poor massage technique. My wife and I both feel physically and emotionally uncomfortable after our experience here.The long version: My wife booked us the couples massage package 1 and we were assigned Tanya & Lois. Upon arrival we called to be let into the building and someone came downstairs to get us. She never introduced herself but later turned out to be one of our two massage therapists. We were handed forms at the desk and were surprised to see non binary as an option which we selected as both of us are non binary yet we were misgendered after they reviewed the forms. Once in the room we were told to put all belongings into a plastic suit hanger which would at best hold a shirt or jacket so we told them we could just carry our own belongings to the sauna and they seemed very annoyed by this and gave no other suggestion or reassurance. We were never introduced to the second massage therapist who began dumping globs of oil onto me and just lightly slopping it around for 10+ minutes. There was ZERO pressure (I’m a medium pressure person; nothing hard, and could hardly feel her touch) and no rhyme or rhythm to her movement. I spoke up because I was very uncomfortable and was not enjoying it. I asked for more pressure and she scoffed and didn’t respond to me at all, just started jabbing me in unusual places with her elbow. My wife offered to switch therapists and ended up having a similar experience. There was a lot of noise from the lobby and no sound machine or music so I politely asked and they seemed annoyed again and stated “uhh shouldn’t they have something in here I don’t know.” They did mention the beds are heated and we let them know that mine was not working and I was cold and my wife’s was extremely hot and uncomfortable and they never addressed this, again not speaking to us. They fumbled constantly with covering us with the sheets and never checked in. I heard my wife exclaim the pressure was painful more than once and it takes a lot for them to speak up so I know that was bad. When it was time for the sauna they once again told us to put out belongings into this suit bag on a hanger. We came out in the very small and thin robes to the front desk and no one was around. After waiting a few minutes we were uncomfortable and decided to get dressed and leave. While getting dressed they banged on the door many times despite us stating please give us a moment. When we came out the one massage therapist attempted to understand what went wrong while the other two rolled their eyes. They did not seem genuinely interested in what went wrong and we ultimately left because it was not a safe environment to give feedback. The other massage therapist who hardly spoke to us yelled out “have a good night” sarcastically when we were entering the elevator as if just happy to be done with her night early.read more

From the very beginning of making an appointment, the manager was so kind and helpful. We booked a couples massage and... she explained everything about what we would expect and pricing. On our way, we were running a few minutes late. I called to let her know and she was so accommodating. The massage therapists we had were wonderful and made us feel so welcome. They were totally professional and made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire massage. The spa is beautiful and had a very relaxing vibe. I had a massage and facial with Tanya and it was great! The spa itself is lovely and clean. I was able to get an... appointment quickly and have it confirmed the next day. Tanya was great at her job, explained what she was doing as I had the facial, and was attentive to just how tight my shoulders were during my massage. Super responsive and very professional and skilled. Plus, my skin feels and looks great after the facial. I would highly recommend!read more

I had the best massage of my life with Dominic! He is beyond a massage therapist, he is a healer. My body has never... felt better after a massage before and I could feel how intuitively he worked the whole time. I felt an immediate sense of trust in his care and cannot wait to see how he helps my body over time. Took my sister here for a little spa day and we got the Cloud 9 package, Tanya and Cora were excellent. Cara did my... massage and it was amazing, she was so sweet and I am feeling so loose & soft! Didn’t know what to expect exactly with the salt scrub and wrap but I loved it. My sister recently had a baby and is nursing and they were extra careful to make her comfortable. The place was lovely and we had a wonderful time! Will definitely be back.read more

I came here with my fiance last night. First of all, let me just say that I did not book the place I thought I was... booking. I made a mistake by Googling too quickly the day before making the appointment, and what I thought was the Rittenhouse Spa & Club at the Rittenhouse Hotel just a bit down the street, was not that at all. We realized what happened and decided to just roll with it.To be clear- I am not rating the two masseuses, Dominic and Lois (I think that was their names). They were very nice and made us feel comfortable. I was more perturbed by the atmosphere. It's not luxurious, though they definitely do the best they can. Imagine a 4/5 star hotel's spa services - it's not that. The spa is located in an old high rise building that actually has a lot of dentist, doctor and business offices, which I'm very familiar with. They have a suite in this building-- it comes off sort of old and musty rather than relaxing and luxurious. The hostess was very attentive and sweet, but I was surprised that she needed my card a second time when we were checking out. I honestly want to make sure I haven't been double charged after reading some of the lower Google reviews.My biggest annoyance was when we were led through a hallway with employee lockers to get to the steam room. I feel this place needs a big update. I've experienced some very nice spas and wouldn't come back because of the atmosphere alone.In the end, it was my fault because I didn't do my research and booked too quickly. But, I think it's important to outline my situation just in case you're someone looking for a truly transformative experience. This won't be it. Great strong massage though!read more

We had such an amazing experience here. It’s my boyfriends birthday and they treated us amazingly. From the start they... had accommodated a last minute appointment. They then called to alert us of a cancellation to better accommodate the schedule. They let us be in the same room which almost made me tear up. I wanted to give him the best birthday and you guys helped me so much! The water bed tables with arm rest was so comfy and such a twist! They served us complimentary champagne and little chocolates. This was my boyfriends first massage. He talked so highly of his massage therapist. BOTH of therapists did an amazing job. Thank you for such an amazing experience! We look forward to booking a service in the future!read more

My partner and I had a great experience at this spa! Friendly staff and calming ambiance. We got a couples massage and... had a wonderful time together. My only feedback is that since they ask for pronouns on the intake form, that they then make sure to acknowledge them to the guests that they are addressing. When we were asked our pronouns it made the environment feel very welcoming, but the. when they weren’t even acknowledged it made us wonder why they even asked them in the first place.read more

I ordered a massage for my mom for her birthday. She has never had great experiences with massages, but to say she... loved this one would be an understatement. She had Margaret as her masseuse,, and raved about how kind and professional she was. She also LOVED this experience. She said when she put her head down to sleep in the evening after this massage, it was the best sleep she's had in a while, Not to mention the 3 times she fell asleep during her massage 😂I can't wait to go myself!read more

This place was amazing, a true gem—very LGBTQ friendly and affirming, my wife and I went here for couples one special... massage and left so much lighter and more relaxed. The massage therapists Kyesha and Lauren helped work out all our stress from 2020 and were great at checking in on pressure and focus. I am a massage therapist and I highly recommend them both as well as this spa. It’s wonderfully hidden in a medical building on the fourth floor which I find cleaver since it is a part of health care that should be recognized—giving our systems rest to reset. Following our massages we were treated to chocolates and a fancy drink of our choice and our own private sauna/shower/bathroom. We left so happy. Tip was included in the package deal yet I felt this place also deserved a 5star review—I feel like we are floating and moving so much better after. Give this place a try—happy pride month everyone.read more
